Caitlin, Linda’s daughter and owner of the studio, started dancing at age 2. In addition to dance, Caitlin took guitar, piano, and singing lessons and was a cheerleader in high school at Nativity B.V.M, graduating in 2002.
She continued her dancing career into college, attending St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia majoring in Accounting. There she joined the dance team, serving as captain her senior year. The team performed at basketball games, as well as Philadelphia Phillies and 76ers games. They also competed annually in the NDA College Championship held at the Wide World of Sports in Disney World. Caitlin currently lives in NJ, with Jon Sierra raising their daughter, Elley and son, Mavryk. Caitlin now only teaches Hip Hop on Thursday evenings due to the long commute. Caitlin will now continue the success of the studio and make both her mother and Dale proud.
Melissa Kocur Bubeck, started dancing with Dalinda Dance Studio in 1977 at age 2, started teaching at age 9 and has never stopped! . Melissa danced with the Schuylkill County Ballet Theater (1983 to 1998) where she also taught and became assistant director. She was also affiliated with the Wyomissing Institute for Fine Arts. Melissa has always been a very active part in the studio as the Assistant Director. Melissa is married to Clayton Bubeck, and has two beautiful daughters Ella (2003) and Lora (2008), who both dance at the studio. Ella started dancing at age 2 has been a Dalinda Showstopper for 6 years, and has been assistant teaching for 2. Lora started dancing at age 3, and has been a Jr. Showstopper for 2 years. Melissa’s specialty is ballet and pointe technique, however she also choreographs competitive dances in jazz and tap for the Showstopper group.
Ella Bubeck, daughter of Melissa Bubeck the assistant director, has been dancing with Dalinda Dance Studio since she was 2 year old. Ella danced her way through the studio joining the Jr. Showstopper group when she was about 9 years old, and then graduated into the Showstopper group when she was about 13. Ella has been teaching at the studio for the last 6 years. Ella is a senior in the Blue Mountain High School Class of 2021. In school, Ella participates in Chorus, Show Choir, Chorale, Women’s Ensemble, County Chorus, Chamber Singers, the Spring Musical, International Club, English Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society, Math Honor Society, World Language Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and National Honor Society. She plans to attend Saint Joseph’s University in the Honors Program to earn a degree in Biology and eventually attend Law School.
Jessica Santai, started dancing with Dalinda Dance Studio in 1992 at age 4. She started teaching in 2002, while completing high school at Pottsville Area High School. She then continued her education at Penn State and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She furthered her education by earning her Masters Degree in Special Education from Alvernia University, all the while still teaching dance at the studio. Jess currently lives in Pottsville, and is teaching 1st grade at Mahanoy Area. Jess has been teaching for Dalinda’s for 15 years, and has been with the studio for 25. Jess teaches a variety of our classes: KinderDance, both beginner and intermediate levels of dance, and adult jazz/tap/lyrical. Her dedication and creative choreography is a major asset to our studio.
Stacy Kostick Guzick, started dancing at Dalinda Dance Studio in 1988 at age 6. Stacy continued dancing until she graduated in 2001 from Pottsville Area High School. After one year off, Stacy returned to teach in 2003 and has been a dedicated and reliable part of the studio ever since. Stacy lives in Pottsville with her husband Chris Guzick, working at Geisinger, and raising their son Grant and daughter, Genevieve. Stacy has been teaching for 16 years and has been with the studio for a total of 31. Stacy assists with the Showstoppers on Wednesdays with Melissa Bubeck, and represents the studio at the desk on Tuesday evenings.
Hannah, an alumni Dalinda dancer started teaching during the 2021-2022 dance year. Hannah is a huge asset to our Kinder classes on Wednesday evenings. Hannah started dancing a Dalinda's when she was 3. She danced at the studio for 13 years. She graduated from Pottsville Area High School in 2016 and went on to pursue her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration at Lebanon Valley College graduating in May 2020. While at LVC she was a member of the LVC Dance Team. She was the treasurer her senior year and choreographed dances for the team. Hannah lives in Port Carbon and works as a Staff Accountant at Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29.
Mackenzie McAndrew has been a dancer at Dalinda Dance Studio since she was 3, and has taught for 7 years. She started as a Junior Showstopper when she was 10, and worked her way up to the Showstopper team. Now, Mackenzie teaches mainly Hip Hop classes, as well as ballet, tap, and jazz. Mackenzie is a senior at Marian Catholic High School in Tamaqua. She partakes in activities in school such as SADD club, Green Club, Student Ambassadors, and is a member of the National Honor Society. She enjoys spending her time dancing and choreographing, especially at the studio. She is a captain of the Marian Cheerleading team, and has worked with the dance team at Marian. She will be attending King’s College in Wilkes-Barre in the fall to study Accounting and Business Management
Danielle, an alumni Dalinda dancer started teaching during the 2021-2022 dance year. Danielle helps with our Kinder and Beginner level classes. Danielle started dancing in kindergarten and finished as a Dalinda Showstopper her senior year of highschool. She graduated in 2015 from Shenandoah Valley and went to East Stroudsburg University receiving a Bachelors Degree in Bio Chemistry. Currently, she is working on her Masters degree in Special Education and is working as a Special Education teacher at Shenandoah Valley.
Lisa Schaeffer, started dancing at the age of 10 at Dolly Marrazo’s studio in Pottsville. Lisa began her dance career at Dalinda Dance Studio in 1980 and left six years later when she graduated from high school. During her time away, Lisa started her family having three daughters, Robin, Amanda, and Nicole. Robin started dancing in 1993, Nicole in 1995 and Amanda in 2000. Now with the whole family back, Lisa joined the Dalinda staff and started teaching in 1999. In addition to her help at the studio, Lisa works full time at CACL Federal Credit Union. Lisa’s specialty is teaching Kinderdance classes, ages 2-6. Lisa’s love and patience for children has strengthened the studio in an amazing way. And her reliability and support for the studio is irreplaceable. Lisa has currently been teaching for 18 years and has been affiliated with the studio for 37.
Nicole Kellagher Yeastadt, daughter of Lisa Schaeffer, started dancing with the studio in 1995 at age 5. After graduating from Pottsville High School in 2008, Nicole started teaching as the assistant hip hop teacher and continued teaching while earning a degree in Leisure and Sports Studies, from Kutztown University. Nicole is currently living in Minersville, with her husband Billy Yeastadt, working as a substitute teacher, and raising their beautiful new daughter, Cora.
Nicole’s specialties are hip hop and tap. She has been a teacher at Dalinda for 12 years and will be here at the studio for a total of 25 years.
Nicole is a great support to the studio and was recently promoted to Director. She continues to provide new and creative ideas and choreography, while supporting the studio's growth and success.
